Urologist Honolulu, HI - Aloha Urology

Aloha Urology was founded by Dr. Garry Peers in May of 2008. Dr. Peers, a fellowship trained urologic surgeon, and a well respected physician in the community, recruited Dr. Tim Roytman to join the practice. Dr. Roytman joined Aloha Urology in 2011 after completing urological surgery residency and fellowship in robotic surgery and robotic oncology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Andrew joined Aloha Urology in August 2020.

Dr. Peers, Dr. Roytman , Dr. Sun and Dr. Belshoff treat a full spectrum of urological conditions and offer their patients up to date surgical and medical treatments. Our particular focus is on urologic oncology, stone disease, benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH), female urology and male fertility. A full range of open, laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques are offered to our patients as appropriate.

Aloha Urology is the only practice in Hawaii with a certified urology Ambulatory Surgery Center. This provides state of the art technologies and convenience for our patients. Aloha Urology and the surgery center provide MRI Fusion biopsy for prostate cancer, UroLift for BPH, and for our radiation oncology patients SpaceOAR. Also, the surgery center provides outpatient procedures such as cystoscopies, and urodynamic evaluation.

Patients suffering from kidney stones, incontinence, urinary tract infections, prostate cancer, erectile dysfunction, blood in the urine, and more can turn to the compassionate urologists at Aloha Urology for quality care combined with compassion in a state-of-the-art facility.

Physicians at Aloha Urology treat patients at Queen’s Medical Center Punchbowl and West Oahu, Kuakini Medical Center, Kapiolani Medical Center, and Castle Medical Center. The urologists offer specialty urological services for Oahu and the neighbor islands for services that are not locally available.

Garry Peers

Urologist

Dr. Garry Peers has been a Urologist in Honolulu since 2000 with Queen’s Medical Center serving as his base with affiliations at numerous other hospitals. He was born and raised in South Africa and graduated from medical school in Johannesburg. Dr. Peers completed his urology and fellowship training in Canada.
Tim Roytman

MD

Urologist

Dr. Tim Roytman was raised in Honolulu and graduated from Iolani School. After Iolani, he went on to Northwestern University in Chicago where he received a Bachelor’s in neuroscience. Tim returned home to the University of Hawaii John A Burns School of Medicine for his MD and graduated with honors (AOA). After medical school, he went on to Washington University in St. Louis, a top rated urology training program, where he did his training in general surgery, urologic surgery as well as fellowship in robotic-assisted surgery/advanced laparoscopy. Tim is trained by the leaders in urologic surgery such as Dr. Gerald Andriole, Dr. Adam Kibel, Dr. Sam Bhayani, Dr. Sherb Figenshau, Dr. Arnold Bullock and Dr. Steven Brandes.
